Our annual HCI Leadership Retreat is already shaping up to be one you won’t want to miss! We are “Becoming Like Him”.

This year we are working to offer a hybrid retreat experience. We hope many of you are able to meet in homes and experience the joy of being together in the same space, while also enjoying the speakers, worship, and exercises with our online friends. Don’t worry, if you can’t meet in person, we are offering the retreat experience online too. We’ve lined up gifted speakers who will encourage us all as we are “Becoming Like Him”.

You can learn to live in Joyful Confidence by going deeper with God, by experiencing his deep love and care, his tender heart towards you. If we fully saw the reality of his power and presence with us, we would experience a level of safety, joy, and confidence that we can barely imagine. We would also know who we are and what amazing acts we are called to do in partnership with God. We call this Living in Joyful Confidence.

Church of the Apostles, the home of the Healing Center at Apostles, continues its long partnership with Camp Highroad! We (Apostles and Camp Highroad) are dedicated to sharing the gospel and to giving each of our summer campers an exciting and Christ-centered experience of fellowship, fun, adventure, and spiritual growth. Campers are divided into age-specific units, where they spend 5 ½ days sharing life together; each unit has two counselors, who lead the unit to participate in a variety of age-appropriate camp activities, Bible studies, great meals and free time.

Two back-to-back conferences with Dr. Karl Lehman: A two-and-half day Basic training followed by a one-and-a-half day Intermediate-Advanced Immanuel Approach conference. Dr. Lehman will only be offering this seminar package one time on the east coast. This is your opportunity! Dr. Karl Lehman is the psychiatrist who, along with Dr. E. James Wilder, developed the Immanuel approach. Dr. Lehman has been honing his technique in fourteen years of private practice and has written two books, Outsmarting Yourself and The Immanuel Approach: For Emotional Healing and for Life.

God is always with us, but we often aren’t aware of his presence. Learn how to have a more intimate relationship with God by spending a day with Jesus, just enjoying his presence. You will also have an opportunity to bring him any barriers to trusting him with your whole heart.

econciliation is not a destination but a resting place on our journey with Jesus. Reconciliation with God is the pathway to living into the new relationship that we have with Him through Jesus Christ, John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. (ESV) And as we live into this truth, and continue on our journey with Jesus, we then become reconcilers. 

HeartSync Ministry focuses on the primary mission statement of Christ to heal the brokenhearted, whereby Christ gives us singleness of heart and action so we are then able to love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind.

At this conference we will be demonstrating how to engage with God for change, interact with him over what troubles us, and be freed from the places where we are stuck. This year we will be focusing on getting free of the “tar pit” of codependency so we can fearlessly embrace all God has for us. We will be identifying types of codependency—the obvious and subtle forms—and how to overcome co-dependent relationships and set healthy boundaries. This is a workshop for everyone (aged 14 and up) including codependents and the people who love them.

For God So Loved…

Love is a character attribute of God, not just an emotion toward us.  This love for us is completed through the crucifixion and resurrection of his beloved son, Jesus.

Join us as we explore the truth that For God So Loved… where we will look at the crucifixion from Father God’s perspective and discover how deeply we are loved. David and Jan Takle will guide the participants through the powerful tool of conversational prayer, interactive exercises, thought provoking discussion and plenty of space for contemplation and reflection with God.  The retreat will conclude with a worship service to include communion.
