Restarting: Joyful Recovery from Trauma and Addictions

  • Zoom United States (map)

About

One of three modules in the Life Model course series, Restarting is a solution-based approach for building joy, receiving inner healing, and developing life-giving relationships. Restarting offers hope for those who have tried other approaches and still feel hurt, empty, alone, or ashamed of their struggle.

In this 12-week course, you will learn basic neuroscience and practice brain-training exercises that help build joy, promote recovery, and teach what it means to attach to God and others in healthy ways. This is an innovative training program for people with addictions and trauma and those seeking maturity and the skills to thrive. There will be opportunity to share stores and insights that help rewire the brain for healthy attachment in joy, even in the midst of distress.

“You and I have a destiny that is far beyond freedom from pain. Our destiny is to become fully alive, connected in joy to God and others in relationships that are life giving.” — Ed Khouri
