Join our experiential class where we spend 10-weeks applying the discoveries of neuroscience and attachment theory to spiritual formation. Come experience hope with us as we encounter beauty and gratitude, hear ideas together, journal, and meet Immanuel, God-with-us, in our stories.

Facilitators
Anne Doggett, MEd
Anne is a retired autism teacher, an occasional worship leader, and an intercessor for communities and nations with ASK Network Int’l. She has lived in multiple Third World nations, traveling with her foreign service husband. She has attended Christ Our Shepherd Church on Capitol Hill since 1990. Anne found her way to a Forming class in 2012 and was captured by the invitation to seek the heart and perspective of Jesus in all things. She has been facilitating classes with HCI since 2016. She has a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, an MA Ed from George Washington University, and an ABA Certificate from George Mason University. Her four children, their respective spouses, and six grandchildren offer ample opportunity for her to practice the principles she loves to teach. Anne lives with her husband in Arlington, VA.
Susan Price, MD
Susan has been taking classes and teaching with Healing Center International for the past 12 years. She led Forming for a women’s' Bible study at her church 10 years ago and has since worked with that group using the skills introduced in Forming. After working many years as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, she is blown away by how the life skills model, Immanuel prayer and Immanuel journaling lead to real change and growth and healing.
Jeannie Herbert, MSN
Jeannie has had the opportunity to work with individuals and families across the life cycle. She has worked with couples in the area of natural childbirth, with children, parents and teachers at a Christ centered elementary school, and with families in hospice at the end of life. She was captured by the Life Model and Immanuel Lifestyle in 2012. What a transformation to experience and embody God with us! She has been facilitating book studies since then on topics of brain science and spiritual formation to help people increase their capacity for joy. She has a BSN and MSN from Duke University. She and her husband, Jerry, have three grown sons, five grandchildren, and live in Arlington, VA.
