What does it mean to truly grow up relationally? Relational Maturity offers a practical and Christ-centered framework for understanding how we develop emotionally, spiritually, and relationally throughout our lives.

Drawing from relational neuroscience, attachment theory, spiritual formation, and biblical principles, this workbook explores five stages of relational development—Infant, Child, Adult, Parent, and Elder. Each stage offers insights into our patterns, relationships, strengths, and areas where God may be inviting us into deeper healing and growth.

Through teaching, reflection, and practical exercises, you'll gain tools to recognize where you are in your journey, understand what may be keeping you stuck, and take meaningful steps toward greater maturity.

You will learn. . .

  • How to recognize relational maturity—and identify areas of immaturity.

  • Why relational immaturity is one of the greatest challenges we face and how to grow beyond it.

  • How to assess your own relational maturity, identify maturity deficits, and take steps toward greater health and wholeness.

  • How to better understand others and recognize what may be behind the ways they think, feel, and respond. On a deeper level, you will understand. . .

On a deeper level, you will discover…

  • Why you may struggle or fight with others. We all have different maturity deficits, and what feels “normal” to us may actually be an area where we need to grow.

  • Why prayer ministry, while incredibly valuable and necessary, may not be enough on its own. Healing and maturity go hand in hand.

  • Why some non-believers may appear more relationally mature than Christians. Spiritual maturity and relational maturity are connected, but they are not always the same thing.

  • Why highly educated and skilled leaders can still respond from immature places. Knowledge, experience, and leadership ability do not automatically produce relational maturity.
