Intermediate Immanuel Prayer Seminar

  • Chalice Christian Church 5612 Haden Road Virginia Beach, VA, 23455 United States (map)

We know God is “Immanuel” but we are not always aware that He is with us every moment of our life.  The Immanuel Prayer Approach helps us connect to God in very tangible ways and removes the barriers that keep us from enjoying a close relationship with Him—Immanuel—the always, everywhere, personally present God.

Immanuel Prayer was developed by Karl Lehman, a medical doctor in the field of psychiatry with 40,000 clinical hours.

This seminar will give a review of what we learned in part 1 and take it further. We will explore the nature of trauma and how to use Immanuel Prayer to increase trauma resilience and joy capacity. We will talk about how to use the safety net, how to help people process painful memories, and how to do troubleshooting.

The seminar is highly interactive with demonstrations and practice throughout. This seminar will enable you to:

  • experience the love of God

  • develop a deeper walk with God

  • find God when you need to

  • address painful memories and limiting lies

  • help others connect with Jesus and deal with trauma

Immanuel Prayer is Christ-centered, brain-wise, simple and safe. Participants will have a chance to practice what they learn as we go through the steps. If you would like to review the BASICS of Immanuel Prayer or download the Immanuel Prayer Map in advance you can do that here.

The seminar is sponsored by Bayside Christian Church and presented by Pastor Robert Walter and his wife, Vilia (On God's Trail). Robert was a pastor for two decades and now trains pastors throughout the world. He and Vilia tried many different types of healing prayer approaches and have found Immanuel Prayer to be one of the best at helping people connect with God consistently and deeply. They have been trained by Dr. Karl Lehman and his closest associate, Pastor Patti Velotta in Chicago. Karl and Patti were at the forefront of developing Immanuel Prayer. For more information on Robert and his ministry please click here.

Typical participants for this seminar include pastors, prayer ministers, counselors, chaplains, social workers, recovery group leaders, and anyone who wants to deepen their walk with God or help others resolve issues from the past.

The seminar is Saturday only (9-5), May 18. Lunch will be provided. Registration is limited to the first 80 who sign up and there is an early registration discount available until midnight April 17. So click the blue button in the upper right to reserve your spot! We look forward to seeing you there.

This is part 2 of the Immanuel Prayer Approach training. If you haven't yet had part one please email us before registering. Part 1 lays an essential foundation for part 2 but you may already have that foundation if you are practicing Immanuel with someone else who has experience.

Also, note that Immanuel Prayer is not counseling and this seminar is not intended to provide intense work with people in crisis. That can happen with Immanuel Prayer coaches in another setting when there is more time for individual attention. In the spirit of disclosure, be advised that we will be sharing some stories of people in trauma. By hearing stories of other people in pain, you may be triggered and experience your own pain.

Robert, thanks so much for the training today and my prayer session. I really can't express in words what it meant to me, but as I was just now at the sink, I feels like my DNA has been changed. Cherry (retired, VA)

Robert Walter has a gift for presenting these transformational truths about a personal encounter with Jesus in “Immanuel Prayer” in a way that is relevant, attainable and exciting! Robert has an experiential approach to training so that each person has an immediate chance to put to practice what he teaches and to integrate and assimilate it so it is not just more head knowledge and a notebook that sits on your shelf from yet another Christian conference. Pam (marriage counselor and Prepare/Enrich Trainer, MN)

Vilia is fantastic! I so appreciate her depth and sense of humor. Mary (nurse practitioner, MN)

The Immanuel Prayer seminar and my prayer appointment changed my life. I found a simple process I could really use to help others without a degree in counseling. I learned I could practice the Presence of Christ any time, and I received deep personal healing that only Jesus could have known I needed. I have used Immanuel Prayer with my daughters, who have found Jesus with them when they were scared of nightmares, and then slept soundly. One described hearing beautiful music with Jesus; one told me he said simply, “Do not be afraid." Danielle (teacher, AZ)
