Join Betsy Stalcup as she blazes a trail for a small group of intrepid travelers who are becoming Relational Maturity Coaches. This program will take around 18 months to complete.
This certification track is part independent study, part group project. The goal is to complete the assigned reading and practices as well as lovingly interact with your cohort. Most of the work will be done independently. Trailblazers will meet with each other monthly at a mutually agreed upon time to share their experiences as they engage in relational maturity with God and each other. In addition, the group will meet with Betsy monthly to ask questions, and share progress and pitfalls by reading selected passages from their journals. To clarify, there will be two meetings a month. One with your group without Betsy and one with her. We would like to group to come up with a proposed schedule for the 18 months that will allow them to do the reading and practices in rhythm with their cohort.
We encourage our first cohort to come up with a mutually agreed upon schedule for when they will engage with the various requirements.
This is our first cohort. Let us know if your group will need more time or runs into difficulties. We will be learning as we go.
We realize that some of you have already completed some of the requirements. For example we know that some of you are already HCI network members. We also know that many of you have participated Forming before, or even taught it before. In the registration section below, please check off which prerequisite and/or requirements you’ve already completed.
Prerequisite:
Acceptance into the HCI Network, including a background check and recommendation from two people. We suggest starting this process ASAP.
Requirements:
Attend monthly meetings with your cohort, as well as meetings with Betsy.
Complete first year of Leadership Development: Forming, Listening for Heaven’s Sake, and Immanuel Approach Training. The next Leadership Development course will begin in January 2027. However, if you’ve completed Forming but not the other two, please email Sara Orazi-Frau (Sara@GodHealsToday.org) which ones you still need to take. You may be able to join the 2026 Leadership Development Group. They are partway through Forming and will do Listening and Immanuel Prayer Training for the remainder of 2026.
Must be engaged in your own maturity recovery.
Lead a small group of two to four people in the nine-week maturity program.
Teach a lesson in Maturity Recovery to small group two-four people.
Help them choose appropriate deficit to target.
Help them create a plan for recovery of their chosen deficit.
Meet regularly with your group to share victories and defeats, and connect with the Lord for comfort and strength and wisdom.
Time and Place
Once registered, your email will be shared with all the participants. The participants will communicate their schedules and decide a start date. You will meet monthly online, via Zoom, with the other participants at a time you all plan. We have HCI zoom accounts that may be available for your meetings. You will also meet monthly with Betsy Stalcup. (Zoom links will be sent to registrants).
