Presence and Encounter Book Study
How do we strengthen and grow our attachment to God?
Everyday life holds sacramental possibilities if only we learn by God's grace to be present and to dialogue with each other and with God. In this 14 week study, we’ll focus on learning to be present to ourselves and to others as we awaken to God's attachment to us. Our text will be Presence and Encounter: The Sacramental Possibilities of Everyday Life, by David Benner, PhD. We will pair each chapter with a journey through the book of Mark, along with various exercises and Immanuel Journaling.
