David Takle

David is an ordained minister living in High Point, North Carolina. David is the author of several books devoted to spiritual growth and development, and is also the creator of Forming: Change by Grace, a very experiential course in Christian formation. David holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary with a concentration in Christian Formation.

David trained with Shepherd’s House in Pasadena and worked with their staff for nearly ten years. That experience provided him with unique exposure to the latest advances in the Christian understanding of human development and the ways God intended for us to grow and mature both as Christians and as human beings.

Anne is married with four grown children and three grandchildren. She has been an autism teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools since 2000, and before that traveled with her foreign service officer husband, being a mom and also teaching various students and subjects in Niger, Egypt, Côte d'Ivoire and Zimbabwe. She attends and leads worship at Christ Our Shepherd Church on Capitol Hill in D.C., and participates in ASK Network, a prayer fellowship that intercedes for the church, our communities, our nation and the nations of the world. She began attending Life Model classes in 2012, and particularly loves the focus on connection and community. Connecting with Jesus and with others—this is our hope for healing in our deepest, most stubborn places.
